Adoption

So, this Friday I was babysitting Casey (age 2... actually, she'll be 3 in a week) and she woke up about 30 minutes into her normally 2-hour nap. I guess she had a bad dream. Anyway, she wanted me to hold her until she fell back to sleep. We both ended up falling asleep for about an hour and a half. I woke up first, and as I was holding her, i was just thinking how easy it was to love little kids, and I realized that I totally need to adopt kids. Of course, I want to have a couple of my own, but then I think I will adopt. It's something I have thought about for a long time, but I always was hesitant because I wanted kids of my own. I don't need to have 4 kids, though. I can have one or two and adopt two more, have the big family I want, not increase the population, and give children a home they wouldn't otherwise have. I'm excited. Now I just need to find a man to get on board with this... While I'm waiting, I guess I'll have school/practicum/dissertation/work to keep me busy.
